2012year8month10day My mill came (second hand) with the scales already installed. The previous owner had a Shumatec DRO installed but kept the DRO for his new mill. I got involved with the Shumatec Group and bought the board, housing, and components and assembled my DRO myself. Love it! If you got the Shumatec DRO, you would still need to buy the scales seperatly.

I traded the Harbor Freight mini mill with the adjustable column to someone that requires that feature and got a new Sieg X2D with the solid column, larger table, and air shock. After a couple of days completely disassembling, cleaning, and repainting parts grey in color, I wanted the mill to be as accurate and precise as I could possibly make it.

I had to do some grinding on the Y-saddle's underside (rough casting) to get the ballnut to clear but as I understand it this is a common issue with pretty much any kit.
